We're journalists. Trust is the most important thing we have, and that extends to how we run our website. So let's be crystal clear about your privacy.

Our philosophy is simple: We collect as little as possible.

We built this site to share stories, not to harvest your data.

Here’s what we actually collect (and why):

• When you visit: Our web server notes basic technical info—like your browser type and which articles you're reading. We only analyze this in bulk to understand what stories are working. We're interested in trends, not individuals.
• When you email us: We’ll have your email address so we can respond. That’s it. We don’t sell it or use it for anything else.
• Cookies: We use these to keep the site running and collect anonymous visit data. They tell us "this article is popular"—not "this person read it." You can block them in your browser anytime.

Who do we share your information with?

Almost no one. We do not sell or rent your data.

The only exceptions are trusted tech services (like our host), and only if required by law.
